First project meeting in Corum, Turkey
What an amazing „adventure“!
Fort he first project meeting all partners travelled to Corum, Turkey, in November 2019. Here we decided about the first activities, about responsibilities in work and- the most important aim- we got known each other.
It was amazing to explore Turkish hospitality, to learn about Turkish way of life far away from tourist centres.
At our partner school, the Mehmetçik Anadolu Lisesi, we was faced with a very warm welcome.
After introducing each partner in word and pictures,we learnt about the Turkish attitude to nature and how they teach the students to take over responsibility for earth and for future life.
A lot of workshops were held and practical work in gardening was one oft he highlights. We chose the project symbol and slogan, too.
All partners also had the chance to discover rural life on a farm and the ancient life of people in Turkey. Therefore we went on an unforgettable tour to Cappadocia. Getting in touch with horses, sheep, goats and horses was great for all, learning about life in that area – a great experiance.
At the end oft hat meeting was clear: This will be a great team work and we can learn a lot from each other.
